SEATTLE -- Oregon State will begin its quest to repeat as the Pac-12 tournament champion in a quarterfinal matchup against California Friday morning at KeyArena.
The top-seeded Beavers swept No. 8 seed Cal in the regular season, including a 71-56 victory in Corvallis to clinch the outright Pac-12 regular-season title in Sunday's regular-season finale. But Cal has been a tough out in this tournament, upsetting Utah and Arizona State as the No. 10 seed before falling in overtime to UCLA in the semifinals.
