CORVALLIS — Throughout November, Jalen Moore and the rest of Oregon State scout teamers arrived at the Valley Football Center as early as 6:30 a.m. each day.
By 7:30, they'd be lifting weights for an hour before heading off to meetings. Later, as the Beavers' veterans walked off the practice field, those "young guys" stuck around for an extra period.
But Moore did not mind. In fact, he nodded in approval when asked recently about the additional workload. For the freshman safety that spent a 2-10 season redshirting, the stretch run of 2015 also represented an early start on 2016.
