CORVALLIS -- When asked for an example of Kalani Sitake's on-field personality, fellow first-year Oregon State assistant Ilaisa Tuiaki easily recalled one game the pair coached together at Utah.
Tuiaki remembered Sitake, the Beavers defensive coordinator, intensely coaching his players. And jumping around to celebrate big plays. And hollering over to the opposite sideline.
Yes, this happened in a game. A spring game.
OSU is promising a similar type of energy for Saturday's spring game in Corvallis, where the Beavers will debut the initial work of their new coaching staff with largely a full-blown scrimmage.
