CORVALLIS — Oregon State's weekly "champions meeting" was a lot more fun this time around. And the Monday dinner at training table will be better, too.
Gary Andersen said his players deserve to be rewarded for Saturday's result, pulling off a 47-44 overtime victory over California in the first Pac-12 win of Andersen's tenure. But just as the Beavers (2-3, 1-1 Pac-12) needed to quickly move past any disappointing defeat, now they must do the same with an emotional victory.
"I don't think you have to guard it with this team," Andersen said Monday during his weekly press conference.
