To bring back a long-frustrated fan base last fall, first-year head coach Wayne Tinkle unveiled Oregon State men's basketball's gradually increasing season tickets system.
Reality met expectations. Fans gave the Beavers high marks on a survey that an outside company conducted throughout the season, OSU announced Thursday. The Beavers were named the nation's best in several notable categories, including season ticket holder overall satisfaction, and they topped every category in the Pac-12.
"As we embarked on Coach Tinkle's first season, we wanted to measure our fan-donor base to hear the good and the areas we need to make better," deputy athletic director Mark Massari said in a news release.
