CORVALLIS -- For the third time in four games, Oregon State battled all the way back from a double-digit deficit.
The Beavers had done so two weeks ago in a thrilling double-overtime win over Washington and again last week at UCLA before faltering down the stretch. Back in Gill Coliseum on Thursday night against No. 14 Arizona, OSU once again showed the heart and resolve that could bode well for its future.
But twice in the final 80 seconds of regulation, in what turned into a 75-65 overtime defeat, the Thompson brothers lined up from the left corner of Gill Coliseum for an open three-pointer and the chance to seal the game.
