During the Beavers' "live" period (full tackling) during the end of the practice, true freshman Paul Lucas caught an intermediate pass over the middle and then showed why he was arguably the top get of OSU's recruiting class. He spun past one defender, then slipped another would-be tackler, then showcased his speed while breaking to the outside before getting stopped just before the goal line.
There was a skirmish after the play, though it didn't get super heated and was broken up fairly quickly.
