After an impressive debut, Conor Blount has officially worked his way up the Oregon State depth chart.
The walk-on freshman from Waukesha, Wisconsin is listed as the second string quarterback behind starter Darell Garretson and ahead of sophomore Marcus McMaryion. Last week heading into the Beavers' game against Boise State, an eventual 38-24 loss, Blount was not even on their depth chart. Blount completed 11 of 18 passes for 138 yards in the game.
Garretson, who was taken out for Blount for the second half against Boise State after Gary Andersen said he was not "100 percent," is not listed on the injury report.
