STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford tight end Colby Parkinson put on a first-half show with four touchdown receptions as the Cardinal routed the Oregon State Beavers 48-17 Saturday night in Stanford Stadium.
The Cardinal (6-4, 4-3) became bowl eligible by jumping on Oregon State for 34 first-half points, most coming on touchdown catches of 5, 9, 28 and 75 yards by Parkinson. Oregon State (2-8, 1-6) plays the season's penultimate game next Saturday at Washington. Saturday's game at a glance:
