The Beavers start their conference schedule with a trip down to Eugene for the 351st Civil War. It’s a hell of a way to get Pac-12 play started, but this isn’t quite the Oregon team many thought we’d be playing.
To start with, it appears that Bol Bol’s foot injury is going to keep him out much longer than originally expected, perhaps for the rest of the season. Before his injury, Bol was the centerpiece of Oregon’s offense, with 21 points per game.
It’s the latest bump in the road for a Ducks team that many thought was the front runner for this year’s Pac 12 Championship.
