The Beavers picked up a big junior college transfer today, when Maurice Calloo announced his decision to come to Oregon State. Calloo, a 6’10” power forward, just played an abbreviated season at Indian Hills Community College in Iowa. Before that, he played his true freshman season with Oklahoma State, before making the decision to transfer. He’ll have two years of eligibility remaining.
Calloo, a native of Windsor, Ontario, went to high school at Huntington Prep in Huntington, West Virginia. He was rated as a three star recruit by 247 sports and rivals.com. At Okie State, he played in 16 games, averaging about 10 minutes per game and scoring 2.
