The on-court struggles of the Oregon State men's basketball team have been well-documented during the 2016-17 season.
But as the Beavers near the conclusion of a challenging year, seven of their players were honored Tuesday as part of the Pac-12 all-academic team. According to an Oregon State release, the team's previous high for selections in a year was two players.
Two starters - sophomore guard Stephen Thompson Jr. and sophomore center Gligorije Rakocevic - and one reserve - junior guard Daine Muller - qualified for the all-Pac-12 first team.
