Less than a month after 2021 prospect Dashawn Davis made it clear that he would deciding between the likes of Oregon State and Seton Hall, the Trinity Valley Community College (Texas) guard made the call that his future home would be in Corvallis on Thursday.
Davis’ choice of Oregon State opens up the program’s 2021 recruiting haul with it’s first commitment. The 6’ 3” guard averaged 21.3 points, 6.1 assists and 4.1 rebounds last year and shot 50.8% from the floor for the Cardinals, helping them to an 18-13 record overall.
A bit of surprise addition, Davis hails from the Bronx, New York and committed to head coach Kevin Willard and the Pirates program back in 2018, before heading to junior college.
