For the third game in a row, Oregon State and UC Irvine fought down the wire. For the second time this weekend, a game in the series went to extra innings. Unfortunately for the Beavers, this time it was the Anteaters who came back to take a win in extra baseball, beating OSU 7-6 in 12 innings. The loss gives UCI a 2-1 series win, and drops the Beavers to 26-12 this season.
Today it was the Beavers turn to start hot. Wade Meckler walked to start the game, and then Ryan Ober singled to get OSU two baserunners.
