Oregon State Baseball’s coaching staff is once again undergoing a big change. Reports emerged Thursday night that Assistant Coach Pat Bailey is leaving the program. Neither the university nor Bailey have said whether the decision is Bailey’s or the school’s. Regardless, the move is another significant shift for a program that has been undergoing rapid changes over the last few seasons.
Bailey had been with the program since 2008. He became Associate Head Coach under Pat Casey in 2013, and helped guide the team to their 2018 College World Series victory. His efforts working with the team’s batters helped the development of players such as Michael Conforto, Adley Rutschman and Trevor Larnach.
