Time for preseason baseball rankings to start rolling in and OSU’s first one is hard to complain about. The Beavs sit at #2 in Collegiate Baseball’s preseason poll behind the defending national champion Florida Gators at #1.
The rest of the top five goes Arkansas at #3, Florida State at #4, and Texas Tech at #5.
The only other Pac-12 schools on the list are UCLA at #14, Stanford at #24 and Arizona at #36.
Other teams in the top 40 on Oregon State’s schedule for the upcoming season are Nebraska (#39), CSU-Fullerton (#12), Missouri State (#22), and San Diego (#31).
