It was another nail biter in Los Angeles for Oregon State baseball, but Sunday afternoon the Beavers emerged victorious, taking down UCLA 5-3 to salvage one win from their series against the Bruins. Oregon State improves to 29-14 overall and 11-7 in conference play.
Two quick outs started the first for the Beavers, but then things got interesting. A fielding error allowed Andy Armstrong to reach first, and then a Garret Forrester single got him to second. After that, the Beavers were off to the races. A Joe Casey single scored Armstrong. A Greg Fuchs single scored Forrester.
