It was a long night for the Beaver baseball team on Tuesday...nearly four and a half hours. The patience paid off, however, as the guys in orange and black defeated the Oregon Ducks by score of 7-6. The victory was OSU’s tenth straight against the Ducks. OSU achieved this despite being outhit by Oregon 10-5 and committing two errors to UO’s one.
OSU started the day off with a two-RBI single by Beau Phillip in the bottom of the first. In the top of the second inning, Oregon got on the board thanks to Cameron Campbell scoring on a wild pitch and an RBI double Sam Novitske.
