Arizona State blasted Oregon State Saturday night, ultimately winning 11-5. ASU pitcher Justin Fall was excellent pitching 7.1 innings and allowing just two runs. The Sun Devil batters took care of the rest hitting 5 home runs on the night. For the Beavers Cooper Hjerpe got the start on the mound and struggled lasting just three innings while allowing seven runs. Hjerpe has been pitching really well this season but tonight was just not his night.
After falling behind 7-0 after three innings Oregon State settled down and started to play better. Salgado and Burns pitched a few solid innings in relief and the Beavers started to heat up on offense.
