CORVALLIS - Oregon State bounced back from a tough but disappointing showing in Arizona, beating UCLA 69-63 Thursday night at Gill Coliseum.
The Beavers improved to 3-3 in Pac-12 play.
Top performances: All five Oregon State starters (Drew Eubanks, Tres Tinkle, Seth Berger, Stephen Thompson Jr. and Ethan Thompson) finished in double figures. Tinkle led the way with 16 points and six rebounds.
Junior guard Aaron Holiday led UCLA with 22 points, while senior forward Thomas Welsh added 10 points and 13 rebounds.
Key runs: Oregon State closed an offensively-challenged first half with a 6-0 run to take a 31-26 lead at the midway point, closed out by a Eubanks weak-side rebound and put-back with two seconds remaining.
