A couple things ...
-- It didn't take long for the changes to begin happening for the Oregon Ducks.
I'm guessing Mark Helfrich's move to shuffle his defensive coaching staff has been in the works for a while, which would explain his non-answer last week when given an opportunity to endorse Don Pellum as defensive coordinator.
Here is Andrew Greif's story for The O about Pellum's demotion and the decision by linebackers coach Erik Chinander to join Scott Frost's staff at Central Florida.
I'm glad Pellum will remain with the Ducks.
When I talked to him last week in San Antonio before the Alamo Bowl, he said he always has been happy he returned to Eugene after three years at California, and professed his love for the city and the University of Oregon.
