CORVALLIS -- Oregon State captured its 11th consecutive victory Friday night, pulling away from Colorado 73-50 at Gill Coliseum thanks to another stout defensive effort.
The victory keeps the Beavers (21-3, 12-1 Pac-12) in the Pac-12 lead, as No. 9 Arizona State topped California in Berkeley.
The Beavers held the Buffaloes to 33 percent shooting, helping them outscore Colorado 36-22 in the second half. OSU particularly clamped down in the final period, holding the Buffaloes scoreless for more than six minutes to help extend its lead to 68-42.
