No. 19 Beavers Fall Short in Pac-12 Opener at No. 11 Washington

SEATTLE - The 19-ranked Beavers strung together seven hits, including three from junior at No. 11 Washington, but fell short on Thursday evening as Oregon State dropped a 4-3 decision during the Pac-12 series opener.

Senior struck out eight in the complete game, allowing four runs, eight hits and three walks to suffer her fourth loss of the season.

Four other players accounted for OSU's hits, including a two-RBI single from in the top half of the fourth inning.

The Beavers jumped out to an early 1-0 lead after the first half inning, as Hammoude plated with a single to right.
