No. 18 Beavers Row to Second Place Finishes at Las Vegas Invitational

LAS VEGAS – The Oregon State men's rowing team claimed six second place finishes in its season-opener at the 3rd Annual Las Vegas Invitational.

Saturday's races featured the No. 18 Beavers against No. 4 Cal and No. 25 Marist in the first session, while the second race pitted Oregon State against No. 2 Washington and No. 25 Marist. OSU had just one race on Sunday against No. 12 Cornell and No. 25 Marist.

"To have the opportunity to race some of the best teams in the country this early in the season gives us something to build off of," said head coach Gabe Winkler.
