According to an article from our buddies over at Bullets Forever, the Washington Wizards have added former Oregon State star Jared Cunningham to their Las Vegas NBA Summer League team roster. The original news was reported by Ben Standig of Locked on Wizards/FanRag Sports.
The 24th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cunningham spent most of the years from 2012-2016 bouncing around the NBA and the NBA D-League, which included stints with the Dallas Mavericks, Atlanta Hawks, Sacramento Kings, L.A. Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers and Milwaukee Bucks. Most recently, during the 2016-2017 professional season, Cunningham has been flourishing as a member of Jiangsu Monkey King in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA), where back in December, he dropped a ridiculous 74 points in a 148-129 defeat.
