NBA Summer League: Eric Moreland Pours In A Team-High 15 Points In Pistons Win Over Knicks

On Saturday, Oregon State alum Eric Moreland posted a double-double in his 2017 Orlando NBA Summer League debut with the Detroit Pistons, with a 10-point and 11-rebound outing.

On Sunday, the 6’ 10”, 240-pound forward kept his high quality of play rolling, when he pitched in a team-high 15 points in the Detroit Pistons 103-78 victory over the New York Knicks. In the contest, Moreland shot 5-6 overall from the floor and 5-7 from the free throw stripe, while also grabbing 6 rebounds. For the second straight game, Moreland also tallied 4 blocks as well.

What immediately stands out about Moreland’s performances so far in the Orlando NBA Summer League is his sheer efficiency and effectiveness on both ends of the floor and his ability to impact the game, with or without the ball in his hands.
