NBA Summer League: Eric Moreland Posts Double-Double In Pistons Loss To Thunder

Since leaving Oregon State in 2014, Eric Moreland has been trying to stick in the NBA.

He’s had chances with both the Sacramento Kings and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the league and last season, he was an NBA D-League Eastern Conference All-Star from his time playing with the Canton Charge. It seems like at this point in Moreland’s career, the next step is inevitable. On Saturday, he made a pretty strong case for his NBA career in his first Summer League action for the Detroit Pistons.

Moreland logged 28 minutes of court-time in the team’s 92-91 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, scoring 10 points of 4-5 shooting from the field and grabbing 11 rebounds.
