DM: Coming from Eugene, what made you choose Oregon St ?
TE: Wow, that’s a big question. Honestly the Ducks never offered me a scholarship, Coach Riley offered me a scholarship. Mid-way through my junior year, one of the earliest offers at that point. Recruiting has obviously changed so much, at that point in time, I actually just called up and said, I have been watching your football and I am interested in what you are doing, off of what you did last year.
