SPOKANE, Wash. – Oregon State junior Anneke Moersdorf and sophomore Delaney Bahn kicked off competition at the WSU Invitational & Open on Thursday in Spokane, Wash. with second and seventh-place finishes in the pentathlon, respectively.
Moersdorf, who posted 3840 points in her first career pentathlon, now sits third in the Oregon State record book. Also completing her first career pentathlon, Bahn posted a score of 3492 points and is now fifth in the Oregon State record book.
"We had a really good start to the weekend," said assistant coach Pete Herber.
