SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Sixteen Oregon State men's rowers were named to the Pac-12 Men's Rowing All-Academic team when it was announced by the Conference on Friday.
Sixteen Pac-12 All-Academic honorees marks the most in program history improving on the previous mark of 15 in 2013.
Eight OSU rowers earned first team honors including senior (3.41, civil engineering), juniors (3.71, environmental engineering) and (3.79, exercise and sport science), and sophomores (3.78, chemistry), (3.79, political science), (3.67, kinesiology), (4.00, mathematics) and (3.73, bioresource research). It is the second straight year Call and Koetje have earned first team honors while Smith has twice been a second team selection.
