LOS ANGELES – A school record that has stood for 35 years has been broken thanks to Oregon State track and field's Keely McLaughlin during the team's performance at the Beach Invite on Saturday.
It was a busy weekend for the Beavers that saw them competing at four different competitions across the Los Angeles area; Mt. Sac Relays, Pacific Coast Intercollegiate, Bryan Clay Invitational, Beach Invite.
McLaughlin, competing at the Beach Invite, took the record for herself after tying Kam Johnson for the best shot put mark in OSU history a couple weeks ago.
