Miami quarterback Matt Moore, who produced a career day in his first start in five years, was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week, the NFL announced Wednesday.
The former Oregon State star threw four touchdown passes and guided the Dolphins to a 34-13 win over the New York Jets Saturday night.
Moore completed 12-of-18 passes for 236 yards, with four touchdowns and one interception. The win was a big one for the Dolphins, who are trying to clinch their first playoff berth since 2008. Moore started after Ryan Tannehill suffered a sprained left knee in Week 14.
