Former Beaver baseball star, Andrew Moore, has been traded to the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Mariners have acquired RHP Alex Colomé, OF Denard Span and cash consideration from the Rays in exchange for RHPs Andrew Moore and Tommy Romero.

Last season Moore was called up to the big-leagues when Seattle was dealing with a lot of injuries to their starting pitchers.
