Marianne Vydra, Oregon State's deputy athletic director for administration and senior woman administrator, will serve as the department's interim athletic director while the school completes its national search for Todd Stansbury's permanent replacement, president Ed Ray announced via a news release Wednesday morning.
Vydra, who served the same role in July 2015 in between Bob De Carolis' and Todd Stansbury's tenures, has been at OSU since 1992. The "seamless leadership transition" will occur Nov. 4, according to the release.
"I thank President Ray for the opportunity to once again serve in this role," Vydra said in a statement.
