CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State senior quarterback Jake Luton has been named to the Maxwell Award watch list, the Maxwell Football Club announced Wednesday. The award is given annually to the nation's most outstanding collegiate football player.
The honor caps a busy week for Luton, who was also named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, a day after he was selected as the national player of the week by the College Football Performance Awards. He was also selected as a Manning Award Star of the week and was placed on the Davey O'Brien Award's Great 8 list.
