Marjorie Marsh, the longtime Oregon State basketball fan who continued to regularly attend games after 100th birthday, died early Monday morning at 101.
Marsh, who attended nearly every conference game at Gill Coliseum for almost four decades, had been transferred to Samaritan Evergreen Hospice in Albany on Friday, her granddaughter, Jody Eaton, said.
Marsh continued to go to each home game throughout the 2016-17 season, sitting in the wheelchair accessible area near the Oregon State bench. She last attended an OSU game when the Beavers beat Long Beach State on Nov. 18.
Marsh was a Missouri native raised in North Dakota who moved out west with her family and husband, Lee, in the early 1930s.
