FORT WORTH, Texas – Kyle Dernedde tied the Oregon State postseason single-game record with six runs batted in, on the strength of two doubles, to send Oregon State to a 10-5 win over McNeese Saturday afternoon at Lupton Stadium.
With the win, the Beavers improved to 35-23 and advance to Sunday's action at the Fort Worth Regional. The Beavers will play either host TCU or three-seed Dallas Baptist at 11 a.m. PT (1 p.m. in Texas). Broadcast info will be announced at the completion of Saturday's national action.
Dernedde cleared the bases on both doubles, doing so in the fourth to give the Beavers a 5-2 lead.
