KEIZER, Ore. – Steven Kwan posted his first career four-hit game and KJ Harrison hit his eighth home run of the season but Oregon State dropped a 7-5 decision to Portland Tuesday night at Volcanoes Stadium.
Kwan singled three times – two on bunts – and doubled for his first multi-hit game of the season. The four-hit effort pushed the freshman’s hit streak to a season-long five games, where he is 8-for-11 with a double.
Harrison, meanwhile, drove an 0-1 pitch from Portland reliever Jordan Lockwood over the fence in right for his team-leading eighth round tripper of the season.
