Kurt Paulson leaving Oregon State men's basketball to become head coach at Carroll College

Kurt Paulson is leaving his post as director of basketball operations for the Oregon State men's basketball team to become head coach at his alma mater, Carroll College in Helena, Montana.

"We are thrilled to have Kurt rejoin the Carroll family as our new men's basketball coach," Carroll athletic director Charlie Gross said in a statement. Gross added: "He has the combination of skills, experience and energy to take the lead of this program and compete for titles."

As a player, Paulson helped lead Carroll to the NAIA semifinals in 2005 and the NAIA quarterfinals in 2006.
