Kimya Massey has been appointed senior associate athletic director for student-athlete development at Oregon State University, Vice President and Director of Athletics Todd Stansbury announced Thursday.
Massey will provide executive leadership for the department’s student-athlete development team. He will oversee the Beavers’ popular Everyday Champions leadership program, serve as the director of the Leadership Institute, act as a liaison for student-athlete welfare initiatives and have sport supervisor responsibilities.
“As a former student-athlete, Kimya understands the demands and opportunities that intercollegiate athletics presents young men and women,” Stansbury said. “With that experience he will be a vital member of our team as we prepare Oregon State student-athletes to be market ready graduates and become leaders for tomorrow.
