PHOENIX, Ariz. – Kelsey Webster fired a career-best 2-under 70 to lead the Oregon State women's golf team in the first round of the PING/ASU Invitational on Friday.
The Beavers are in eighth place after opening the tourney with a 6-over 294 at the par-72, 6,426-yard Papago Golf Course. The field includes 12 of the 16 teams ranked among the Top 50 in the nation in the latest Golfstat.com rankings.
The second round of the three-day, 54-hole tournament begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday and live scoring is available at golfstat.
