When the Oregon State Beavers football program has had in-state recruiting success, it has come by offering the state's top players early.
Oregon City's Trevon Bradford (2016), Sherwood's David Morris and Josh Bowcut (2017) and Lake Oswego's Jake Dukart, Southridge's Bradley Bickler and West Linn's Keishon Dawkins (2018) all committed to the Beavers after receiving their first Power 5 conference football offer from the in-state program.
Continuing that trend in the 2019 recruiting cycle, the Beavers quickly jumped on rising Clackamas defensive lineman Kelsen Hennessy, a 247Sports three-star prospect, and were rewarded with his commitment in November.
