CORVALLIS, Ore. – Kylor Kelley was selected to the midseason team for the Naismith Trophy for Defensive Player of the Year, the Atlanta Tipoff Club announced Wednesday.
The list includes 15 men's college basketball players whose defensive efforts on the court have set them apart from the pack.
Kelley, a native of Gervais, Ore., leads the Pac-12 and is second in the nation in blocked shots per game (3.94). He has blocked at least one shot in 30 consecutive games dating back to last season, the longest streak in Oregon State history.
