Oregon State senior offensive center Josh Mitchell has been named to the Rimington Award Spring Watch List. He is one of seven players from the Pac-12 Conference to be highlighted by the Awards committee that determines the top center in the country.
Mitchell, a sociology major with aspirations of becoming a college football coach, started all 12 games last season. The 6-3, 306-pound native of North Bend, Wash., also has experience at guard and for his career has played in 37 games with 15 starts.
The recipient will be recognized at the Rimington Trophy presentation at the Rocco Theatre in Lincoln, Neb.
