Corvallis, Ore. – The Oregon State men’s soccer team dominated the second half and outshot California 19-10 overall but came up on the short end of a 2-1 score on Sunday in a Pacific-12 Conference game at Lorenz Field.
Cal (9-5-2, 4-3-2 Pac-12) stunned the Beavers with goals at 6:14 and 22:02 to take a 2-0 advantage but OSU (7-7-1 overall, 2-4-1 Pac-12) righted its shop and drew within 2-1 at halftime. Sophomore forward Jordan Jones slammed home his sixth goal of the season at 38:36, assisted by sophomore forward Timmy Mueller and freshman midfielder Hassani Dotson.
