SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Sophomore forward Jordan Jones scored twice to lift the Oregon State men’s soccer team to a 3-1 win over San Diego State Sunday afternoon in San Diego, Calif.
With another impressive match, Jones extended his team lead to nine goals this season. Freshman Don Tchilao scored the first goal of his collegiate career to seal the match for the Beavers.
The Beavers were the aggressor from the start, taking an early 4-1 lead on the shot counter. Jones got the breakthrough in the 13th minute, hammering home a shot from close range following a cross from Tchilao.
