Oregon State quarterback, Jake Luton, has won the Pac-12 offensive player of the week award for his performance this weekend. Playing on an ankle that still isn’t 100%, Jake Luton helped engineer one of the greatest comebacks in Oregon State history when he was inserted into the game in the second half down 31-3 to Colorado.
Luton threw for 310 yards and 3 touchdowns while completing 28-of-39 pass attempts. He found Isaiah Hodgins and Trevon Bradford for clutch touchdowns on 4th downs. Luton’s statistics, while impressive, don’t appear eye-popping until you realize he only played half the game!
