Having played prep football in a veer offense at Marysville-Pilchuck High School (Washington), Ventura College quarterback Jake Luton finally feels unleashed.
And that's a very bad thing for opponents this season.
The 6-foot-6, 220-pound signal-caller and Oregon State commit is having a record-setting season, and some of the numbers he's putting up are staggering.
Luton leads the National Division with 3,143 yards in 10 games, putting him just 149 yards away from breaking the school record (Brad Odeman, 3,292; 2013).
He's already shattered the school record for touchdown passes, eclipsing the 28-score mark with 34 of his own.
