Today the NCAA granted quarterback Jake Luton’s request for another season of eligibility. The move will cause a sigh of relief for many Oregon State fans. With Conor Blount’s decision to transfer this off-season, had Luton not been gratned another year of eligibility the Beavers’ would have had no one with starting experience on the roster.
Luton has been a journeyman for his college career, starting at the University of Idaho before moving to Ventura College, a Junior College. After one season there, he arrived in Corvallis.
Luton has shown a lot of skill on the field, despite the Beavers’ struggles during his time here.
