ROME, Italy – Saturday was a busy day for the Oregon State women's basketball team, as the squad spent the morning taking in the sights, before hitting the court in the evening.
The day started with a tour of the Vatican City, as the team was able to see the Sistine Chapel, the Papal Palace and St. Peter's Basilica.
"Today was so amazing," said sophomore Patricia Morris. "Getting to see the Sistine Chapel was my favorite part of the Vatican. Getting to see it in person and getting to experience Michelangelo's art was special.
